Tāmaki Regional Wānanga

The day begins with a pōwhiri and kōrero from mana whenua, setting the cultural and relational foundation for our time together. Participants will engage in focused workshops including a Level 4B review, a tumuaki panel on strategic planning and Te Tiriti o Waitangi principles, and a keynote from Leanne Ōtene on culturally responsive leadership.

Throughout the day there will be opportunities for shared kai, whanaungatanga, and continued learning as we deepen our understanding and commitment to culturally sustaining leadership practice. The wānanga will conclude with a whakakapi, bringing together the whakaaro, learning, and connections from the day.

Grounded in the MAC Kaupapa, this Regional Wānanga is designed to strengthen leadership, build cultural confidence, and support kura to lead with authenticity, courage, and purpose.

    INVOICE REQUESTS

    Paying via credit card is our preferred payment method, however, if you do not have the capacity to do so please enter discount code “INVOICE” at checkout. Once you have entered the discount code it will remove all cost of registration/tickets.

    You will still need to continue the check out process, once you have finished checking out you will receive an order confirmation of $0 and our team will create and send an invoice within 7 working days.

  • REQUEST A REFUND

    Partial refunds will be issued for refund requests received on or before 16 June 2026. A $30 transaction fee will be deducted per registration from all refunded amounts. After 16 June 2026, refunds requests will be processed on a case by case basis. If the event is rescheduled, all purchases will be honoured for the rescheduled event date or may be refunded in full. If the event is cancelled, all purchases will be refunded in full.

    After submitting your refund request in writing to kiaora@tearahou.co.nz, please allow up to 5 business days to process your refund request. It can then take up to 10 business days for the refunded amount to appear on the credit card the registration was paid from.
